As you play on
I let the music take me away
To a place never seen, only felt
A place I never wish to leave

I close my eyes to better hear it
I don’t want to lose a moment
Not a sound, not a beat,
My focus is now on you

Please play on,
Even if you skip a key
Or you strum the wrong string
Keep playing for me

I hear no mistakes,
Errors do not exist in this land,
Where sound is sight
And to feel is to live

When you finish so modestly
You do not realize what just happened
You were able to take me to a place
Others have only dreamed of
